Vision:

 

The vision of the Department of Japanese Language at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Aswan University, seeks to make the department an academic entity of distinguished educational quality in teaching Japanese language and literature locally, regionally and globally, through the conclusion of many scientific and cultural exchange agreements between Aswan University and Japanese universities.

Mission:

 

The department’s message seeks to hold an introductory meeting at the beginning of the academic year for new students in the department – the department’s message seeks to hold a scientific conference every two years in partnership with Japanese universities and in cooperation with the Japanese embassy and the office of the Japanese Foundation in Cairo.

The department’s mission seeks to organize cultural meetings that contribute to improving and developing the educational process within the department.

The department’s message seeks to send the first outstanding students to study in Japan at a Japanese university through the student exchange program within the framework of scientific and cultural agreements between Aswan University and Japanese universities.

The department’s message seeks to organize an open meeting for the top outstanding students after their return from Japan to convey their study and life experience in Japan to their colleagues in the department.

The department’s mission seeks to establish the Japanese Language Department Alumni Association to link students studying in the department with the department’s graduates and also to organize joint cultural activities.

The department’s message seeks to cooperate with the Japanese School of the Japanese Embassy in Cairo.

The department’s mission seeks to cooperate with Japanese scientific and cultural institutions inside and outside Egypt in organizing joint cultural activities.

The department’s mission seeks to establish educational programs inside and outside Egypt with the aim of spreading the Japanese language in the Nile Basin region and African countries, in cooperation with the Japanese Foundation for International Cooperation.

The department’s mission seeks to establish educational programs that aim to serve the community, such as the Open Education Program, Japanese Language Division, affiliated to Aswan University.
