Within the framework of keeping pace with the strategic plan of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Aswan University, headed by Prof.  Ayman Mahmoud Othman-President of Aswan University-is updating the university’s strategic plan 2022/2027 in light of the state’s vision 2030 and the plan for sustainable development and climate change 2050.

A committee has been formed to update the strategic plan of Aswan University 2022/2027, which includes:

Prof. Ayman Othman indicated that several meetings of the working group were held and the current situation is being analyzed and questionnaires are being made for the participation of all governmental and private sectors from the internal and external community around the university within the scope of Aswan Governorate to come up with a strategic plan in line with the needs and requirements of society in terms of development, health, education, projects, scientific research and others. services and sectors.

In this context, the committee held a meeting in the presence and chaired by Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, President of Aswan University, and in the presence of Dr. Nadi Kamal Aziz Gerges, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at the university, Dr. Abdel Qader Mohamed, former Vice President of Aswan University, and Khaled Asran, Assistant Secretary General of Aswan University, With the directors of the central departments of the university, to analyze the current situation of those departments at the university and invite them to make a strategic plan for each department on the current situation until July 2027. As a prelude to updating the strategic plan of Aswan University.

There will be four departments:

Central Student Affairs, Postgraduate Studies and Central Research, Central Cultural Relations, and Centers and Units of a Special Nature, present the summary of the strategic plan on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, and so every week, four other departments present a summary of their strategic plans.

Dr. Nadi Kamal Aziz, Director of the Quality and Assurance Center at the university, explained that this was preceded by a meeting of the members of the committee to amend the strategic plan, and they reached to formulate the vision, mission, governing values ​​and objectives, as well as formulating 2 questionnaires to be presented to the central administrations and colleges for their completion and then analyzing the results to reach the current situation. to the university and then reach the proposals of the meeting of the members of the committee to amend the plan at the university
