Portuguese Language Department Update Curricula for teaching Portuguese to Arabic speakers
Five groups graduated from Portuguese Language Department
A third-year student (B1) at the University of Aveiro, and a fourth-year student (B2) at Menio University, were awarded two scholarships from the Kamwish International Institute for International Cooperation in Teaching the Portuguese Language in the framework of cooperation with Aswan University (2021).

Upgrade dr. Maged El-Gabali, Department of Portuguese Language, Faculty of Al-Alsun, Aswan University, to be the first assistant professor in Portuguese Language Arts in Arab Countries (2021).
Social Level:
The Portuguese Language department joined in the Egyptian ministry projects that through the translation committee in the Supreme Council of Universities (2022) and the activities of Aswan Culture Palaces and the Anti-Extremism and Terrorism Conferences (2016-2017) and develop the literature skills through the works of Aswan Literary Club (2018)
Publish the translation of the novel (The Star Hour) for the Brazilian writer Clarice Lispector (2018)
National Level:
Portuguese Language Department joined in the Co-operation National Events with Portuguese Countries from annual organized and with the attendance of Ambassadors of Portugal, Brazil, Angola and Mozambique (2015-2017)
Portuguese Language Department joined in Co-Operation Protocol between Aswan University and Academics in Brazil and Portugal (2017)
Portuguese Language Department joined in national academic in co-operation with Egyptian embassy in Portugal in the celebration of 150 years on opening the Suze canal in Portuguese Geographical Society (2019)
Dr. Maged El-Gbaly finished the Scientific task in the level after Master in Porto University in Portugal (2019)
