Major General Ashraf Attia, Governor of Aswan, inaugurated the second Aswan Book Fair, which is organized by the Ministry of Culture represented by the Aswan Culture Branch, in cooperation with the General Book Authority and Aswan University, in the presence of Prof. The cultural level, and Prof. Magdy Mohamed Ali – the former Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and the General Coordinator of the University, and Prof. Farid Abdel-Zaher – the former Dean of Dar Al Uloom Colleg.

The President of the University stressed the importance of this cooperation in holding the activities of the second book fair, which will be held at Fawzy Fawzy Al-Saifi Theater in Aswan, during the period from (3 November) to (12 November), which includes many literature and books in various fields and various cultural disciplines, which were offered at symbolic prices until It suits the students and works to increase the awareness of knowledge and culture among the public through the acquisition of books and reading. The exhibition will also witness many cultural, artistic and poetic evenings and religious chanting.
