Today, Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman-Acting of Aswan University President witnessed the events of the third round table that Aswan University organized through the University Center for Professional Development in attendance of several companies and this comes in the context of the seeking of the university to continuous connect for linking it with the needs of the labor market.
Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman-Acting of Aswan University President stressed the importance of three sectors of the university: education and scientific research-social service-environmental development; pointing out that the university through the University Center for Professional Development implemented the events of the round table under the title of the current situation of the tourism sector in Aswan Governorate and future trends in order to discuss the repercussions of Coronavirus pandemic, and working on finding the mechanisms of working and employment post corona in the tourism sector and links the graduates with the labor market, and works on providing jobs opportunities to our students and graduates to keep pace with developments to be qualified for always keeping pace with labor market.
Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman added that the university hosts in this meeting several companies, hotels, tourist boats, and eco-tourism which are representatives of all working sectors in the tourism field in the governorate. On the sidelines of the meeting, the University Center for Professional Development signed two cooperation agreements with the Egyptian Family Institution in the auspiece of ( The Future Homeland Party( Al-Amana Aswan)-Development Project Agency (small-medium-micro-small) -Al-Makkar Company in the Digital Innovation Center Tec-in Aswan University campus) through which opportunities for practical and specialized training will be provided, both in its field for the university students and its graduates at the various worksites and the workplaces of partners
