It applies to all registered and affiliated students who are licensed to take an exam from abroad, and those who listen are subject to the disciplinary system set forth hereinafter.

Dear student, do not expose yourself to the following:

Any violation of university laws, regulations, and traditions, in particular, is considered a disciplinary offense:

Businesses that violate the college system or university facilities.


Disruption of studies, incitement to it, or deliberate abstention from attending lessons and lectures.


An act incompatible with honor and honesty or a breach of good conduct.


Violation of the examination system or the necessary calm for it, and any cheating in an exam or attempting to do so.


Destruction of facilities, equipment, materials or university books.


Organizing or participating in associations within the university without a previous license from the competent university authorities.


Distributing leaflets or issuing wall newspapers in any form in colleges or collecting signatures without a previous license from the competent authorities.


Sit-in inside university buildings or participate in demonstrations that violate public order or morals.


Every student who commits or attempts to cheat in an exam and is caught in flagrant derelict shall be taken out by the Dean or whoever represents him from the examination committee, and he shall be deprived of entering the exam in the remaining subjects, and he shall be considered as having failed in all the examination subjects.

 Those penalties are:

Alert verbally or in writing

Denial of some student services

 

Dismissal from college for a period not exceeding one month


Denial of an exam in one or more courses

 

Dismissal from the college for a period not exceeding one semester


Denial of examination in one or more semesters 


Dismissal from the college for a period not exceeding one semester. 


Denial of examination in one or more semesters 


Depriving the student of enrollment for a master’s or doctoral degree for a semester or more. 

 

Dismissal from the college for more than a semester 

 

Final dismissal from the university, and the dismissal decision is communicated to other universities, and it results in the student’s inability to register or take exams in universities in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The University Council may reconsider the decision issued for the final dismissal after the lapse of at least three years from the date of the decision.

The Organizations responsible for imposing sanctions are:

Professors and Assistant Professors:

They may impose the first four penalties above for what the students do during lessons and lectures.

♦ Dean of the Faculty:

He may impose the first eight penalties indicated previously. In the event of disturbances or a breach of order caused by irregular studies or examinations, the dean of the college may impose all the previous penalties.

♦ President of University:

He may impose all the penalties stated in the previous article, except for the last penalty, after consulting the dean of the college.

The Disciplinary Board has the right to impose all penalties:

One of the penalties mentioned in the fifth clause and beyond is not expected until after the student is fully investigated and his statements are heard regarding what is attributed to him.
A faculty member delegated to investigate a student may not be a member of the investigation council.
Decisions issued by the competent bodies imposing disciplinary sanctions shall be final. Nevertheless, it is permissible to object to the previous decision in absentia.
The Disciplinary Council, within a week from the date of its notification to the student or his guardian, and the decision is considered in presence if the request for attendance was announced to the student or his guardian and the student failed without an acceptable excuse.
The student may appeal against the decision of the disciplinary board with a request to be submitted to the president of the university within fifteen days from the date of being notified of the decision.
